Hollin & Reed is two garden designers and a part-time planting team. We take on a handful of projects each season so that every garden gets a visit from the people who drew it.
We design for the long run: plants that suit the site, materials that weather well, and a layout that still makes sense when the hedges have filled in.
Our studio is a converted potting shed with a long bench, a plan chest and a yard of pots we use to test plants before we specify them. Clients are welcome to visit and see what we are growing.
We walk the space with you, test the soil and take measurements. You tell us how you want to use it.
A scaled plan, a planting list and a short note on looking after it, revised with you until it is right.
We plant it ourselves or hand it to your gardener with everything they need. We come back after the first season.
